Pyramid Consulting, Inc. seeks a Payment Risk Analyst to investigate Account Takeover and payment fraud in a hybrid Atlanta setting. This 6+ month contract offers hands-on fraud analysis and collaboration with cross-functional teams to mitigate risk.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in fraud/risk, strong communication, and the ability to manage investigations independently while balancing customer experience with risk controls.

Competenze

• 2+ years of relevant fraud, risk, payments, banking, fintech, or financial-services experience.
• Hands-on experience investigating Account Takeover (ATO).
• Experience investigating transaction or payment fraud.
• Experience reviewing accounts and transactions for suspicious activity.
• Experience making, documenting, or escalating risk decisions.
• Experience with payments, merchant processing, or financial-services risk.
• Customer-facing fraud experience including inbound calls.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently within established procedures.
• Attention to detail and sound judgment.

Mansioni

• Investigate Account Takeover cases involving suspicious activity and compromised credentials.
• Review customer accounts and transaction histories to identify fraud.
• Conduct transaction and payment fraud investigations and determine risk actions.
• Validate payment information and determine legitimacy of activity.
• Make or escalate risk decisions regarding holds or blocking funds.
• Handle inbound calls related to fraud and security concerns.
• Authenticate customers and gather information for investigations.
• Document findings and supporting evidence accurately.
• Escalate high-risk cases per procedures.
• Collaborate with Fraud, Risk, Payments, Operations, Compliance, and Customer Support teams.
• Identify emerging fraud patterns and suggest prevention improvements.
• Meet quality, productivity, accuracy, and service-level expectations.
