Job summary

Motorola Solutions’ Silvus Technologies unit is seeking an FPGA Design Engineer in West Los Angeles. You will join the FPGA Engineering team to implement signal processing algorithms and FPGA-based designs for advanced wireless systems.

Responsibilities include RTL coding, simulations, timing closure, and hardware verification, with collaborations across RF and software teams. A hybrid onsite schedule applies, with 3 days per week onsite.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field plus 2+ years of FPGA design experience (or advanced degree).
• Proven experience with clock-domain crossing and high-utilization FPGA designs.
• Experience with Xilinx FPGAs/SoCs and the Vivado IDE.
• Experience with TCL or Python.

Responsibilities

• Design architecture for wireless FPGA projects.
• Develop RTL code, simulations, and test benches.
• Perform FPGA synthesis and timing closure.
• Support RF and software engineering teams.
