Job summary

First Bank is seeking a Floating Teller to be the first point of contact for customers across Santa Maria, Solvang, and Santa Barbara. You will conduct transactions, listen to financial needs, and refer clients to suitable products while guarding sensitive information and adapting to different branches.

Prior banking experience is strongly preferred. This role offers a hybrid work environment and a focus on delivering exceptional client experiences and meaningful referrals.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or GED is required.
• Experience: Prior banking experience is strongly preferred.
• Accuracy and Attention to Detail in processing transactions.
• Addressing Client Needs with sensitivity to customer perspectives.
• Digital Awareness of online tools and resources for clients.
• Effective Communications to convey ideas clearly.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a unique client experience and process a variety of client interactions.
• Educate clients on alternatives and identify banking opportunities.
• Refer clients to branch staff or partners as appropriate.
• Perform lobby engagement to connect with clients and promote products.
• Apply product knowledge to address client requests.
• Maintain compliance and ensure branch operations are accurate.
