Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of customer service, cash handling, retail, banking or financial services experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Process a variety of financial transactions including deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, transfers, check cashing, cashier's checks, and account servicing transactions.
• Balance and maintain an assigned cash drawer while following cash handling procedures.
• Follow branch procedures, internal controls, security standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Protect confidential client information and comply with bank policies.
• Identify potentially fraudulent transactions and escalate appropriately.
• Support branch opening, closing, balancing, and maintenance activities.
• Resolve routine client issues with professional service.
• Engage clients to understand financial needs and promote banking products and services.
• Refer clients to mortgage, business banking, wealth management, lending and other partners as appropriate.
