Job summary

Hunt Electric Corporation in Eagan, MN is seeking a Fleet Assistant to support the fleet operations. You will assist the Fleet Supervisor and Specialist with tracking vehicle usage, registrations, and maintenance, ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.

The role involves building and maintaining spreadsheets, coordinating pickups, deliveries, and maintenance, and providing excellent customer service to drivers and vendors.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 2-5 years of experience in related fields such as fleet management, rentals, registration, or vehicle maintenance.
• Excellent organization, time management and communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Vehicle and equipment maintenance knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain spreadsheets to keep fleet data organized, up to date, and compliant with safety and regulatory requirements.
• Schedule vehicle pickup, delivery, maintenance, and detailing.
• Assist the Fleet Supervisor and Specialist with vehicle registrations, insurance claims, and other tasks as needed.
• Update the Vehicle Information System (VIS) to enter or remove applicable vehicle data.
• Respond to drivers, vendors, and team member calls, emails, or messages in a helpful and timely manner to provide excellent customer service.
