This hybrid role requires deep technical depth and leadership, mentoring engineers, and driving high-quality, scalable software for industrial motion applications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Software/Electrical/Computer Engineering or related field.
• 10+ years of software development experience.
• 5+ years of software leadership experience (project or people leadership).
• Experience working with embedded software teams.

Responsibilities

• Own software backlog priorities, technical direction, and release planning.
• Turn product goals into clear development plans, stories, and execution priorities.
• Partner with Product Management, application engineers, and other technical leaders to maintain a coordinated product roadmap.
• Lead major software efforts for servo drive products, including scope, architecture, and priorities.
• Drive planning and requirements definitions so teams build the right products with disciplined execution.
• Provide people leadership to embedded software engineers.
• Promote collaboration between engineering teams during planning and execution.
• Mentor early-career engineers in software development and engineering practices.
