Job summary

Primerica is seeking a Financial Systems Analyst 2 in Duluth, GA to administer core financial reporting systems—Workday, BlackLine, and Planful—and ensure timely, SOX‑compliant processes. The role combines system maintenance, testing, documentation and user support within a hybrid work setup.

The analyst will support semi-annual Workday updates, develop training materials, and partner with the finance team to implement enhancements that improve accuracy and efficiency across reporting platforms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; 2–3 years accounting experience preferred.
• 2–3 years of system administration experience preferred.
• Ability to work independently with excellent time management.

Responsibilities

• Serve as subject matter expert for users of Workday, BlackLine and Planful.
• Administer BlackLine account assignments and tasks and validate data.
• Map matching files and set up/maintain matching rules for BlackLine.
• Import subledger files into Blackline and balance data.
• Assess end-user reporting needs and coordinate resolutions.
• Prepare journal entries and account reconciliations.
• Serve as a backup for other department staff.
• Assist with semi-annual Workday updates and any other system upgrades.
• Assist in developing training materials and presenting to end users.
• Assist with ad-hoc assignments as requested.
• Assist department with SOX compliance.
