Job summary

University of Minnesota's Center for Farm Financial Management seeks a Financial Software Support Specialist to connect developers with lenders, educators, and farmers nationwide. You’ll provide hands-on technical and functional support for FINPACK and other CFFM tools, onboard new organizations, and influence future features.

You will work in an in-person role with hybrid options, collaborating across a supportive team focused on practical farm financial management and user success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent with four years of related education/experience.
• Aptitude for learning financial concepts and willingness to understand agricultural and lending tools.
• Ability to develop and cultivate meaningful relationships with users and organizations.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to users of CFFM products via phone, email, and web meetings.
• Assist in onboarding lenders, including system setup calls and template creation for risk ratings and credit decisions.
• Participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for upcoming releases and relay findings to developers.
• Act as a liaison between users and developers to suggest improvements to software functionality.
• Create and revise training documentation for CFFM applications, especially FINPACK.
• Contribute to special projects and other support initiatives for CFFM applications.
