Job summary

The University of Minnesota seeks a Financial Software Support Specialist to bridge developers, lenders, educators, and farmers. You will deliver hands-on support for FINPACK, onboard organizations with custom configurations, and influence future features.

This in-person role offers hybrid or flexible options and emphasizes collaboration, learning, and a balanced work environment across the Center for Farm Financial Management (CFFM).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or a combination of related education and work experience to equal at least four years.
• Aptitude for learning financial concepts and a willingness to gain an understanding of agricultural and lending tools.
• Ability to develop and cultivate meaningful relationships with individual users and companies.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on technical and functional support for FINPACK and related CFFM tools via multiple channels.
• Assist in onboarding new lender licensees with system setup and custom templates.
• Participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for upcoming releases.
• Act as a liaison between users and developers to suggest improvements.
• Create and revise training documentation for CFFM applications, especially FINPACK.
• Contribute to special projects and ongoing support initiatives.
