Job summary

Vanguard seeks Financial Sales Consultants to build meaningful client relationships, navigate key financial decisions, and connect clients with Vanguard products, services, and advice resources. This high-touch, consultative role involves outbound outreach by phone to understand goals, identify opportunities, and deliver exceptional client experiences.

In addition to base salary, the role offers performance-based incentive compensation, reflecting strong client outcomes and business results.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years in financial services, sales, or relationship management.
• Experience managing a book of business in a regulated environment.
• Proven success in client relationship management or sales pipeline.
• Strong communication and CRM/Microsoft Office skills.
• Knowledge of investment products and wealth management preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct discovery conversations to understand client goals and needs.
• Manage a book of business with proactive outreach and follow-up.
• Educate clients about Vanguard solutions and connect with specialists.
• Use consultative sales skills to deepen relationships and guide next steps.
• Coordinate referrals and collaborate across Vanguard for a positive client experience.
