Job summary

Vanguard seeks Financial Sales Consultants to build meaningful relationships with clients, help navigate financial decisions, and connect them with Vanguard resources and advice. This high-touch, consultative role focuses on outbound outreach by phone, managing a book of business, and driving client experience.

Licensing starts with SIE/Series 7, with additional Series 63/65 or 66 as needed. You will operate in a hybrid work model, benefiting from flexibility while collaborating with specialists

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Three or more years of relevant experience in financial services, sales, or relationship management.
• Experience managing a book of business and working in a regulated environment is preferred.
• Strong consultative sales, discovery, communication, relationship management, organization, and time management skills, with CRM and Microsoft Office proficiency.
• Knowledge of investment products, wealth management, retirement solutions, and financial services is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct discovery conversations to understand clients’ goals, priorities, and needs.
• Manage a book of business through proactive outreach, follow-up, and prioritization.
• Educate clients about Vanguard solutions and connect them with specialists when appropriate.
• Use consultative sales to deepen relationships, support retention, and guide next steps.
• Coordinate referrals and collaborate across Vanguard to deliver a positive client experience.
