Job summary

Sunrun is seeking a Certified Hybrid Field Technician to support residential solar installations, site assessments, and post-install inspections across multiple job sites. You will work hands-on to ensure data accuracy and compliance with safety and local codes.

You will travel between homes, document measurements, and coordinate with install teams to drive efficient project completion while maintaining Sunrun’s customer-first standard.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid state electrical certification at journeyman level or higher.
• PV design/installation experience preferred.
• OSHA 10/30 certification preferred.
• Must be able to climb ladders and work on rooftops.

Responsibilities

• Visit customer homes to collect measurements, photos, and data for solar design.
• Assess roof conditions and electrical service panels to meet plans and codes.
• Climb ladders and inspect rooftops as required.
• Submit survey data using mobile field tools.
• Perform post-install inspection readiness and coordinate with AHJ and customers.
• Schedule inspections with AHJ and customers.
• Represent Sunrun professionally in customer interactions.
