Job summary

Arrow Enterprise Computing Solutions in Los Angeles is seeking a Field Applications Engineer to bridge customers and engineering teams. You will support demand creation, technical solution selling, and cross-functional collaboration with sales to align design priorities.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in engineering and at least 3 years’ hardware/firmware or application engineering experience, with FPGA/MPU/MCU/GPU/Embedded systems exposure. Hybrid work arrangement in the greater LA area.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering with minimum 3 years of experience, preferably as a hardware / firmware design engineer, sales engineer or application engineer.
• FPGA/MPU/MCU/GPU/Networking/Embedded systems experience preferred.
• Strong communication, presentation and Interpersonal skills.
• Experience using CRMs and knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
• Sales experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maximize Arrow content on customer designs to secure high-ROI engineering investments.
• Provide technical solution selling leveraging expertise to meet complex customer requirements.
• Collaborate with sales, internal teams and suppliers to provide technical consulting and align design priorities.
• Build relationships with key decision-makers and manage expectations across customers and suppliers.
• Participate in supplier training to stay current on technologies and support designs.
