Job summary
Toyota Automated Logistics is seeking a Field Application Engineer to promote advanced material handling technologies and build strong relationships with industrial and distribution clients within a defined territory.
This hybrid role is based in the Seattle area and involves travel. You will master AutoCad, CRM, and PowerPoint while tailoring automation solutions to customer requirements and leading quotes and proposals.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or MET engineering field.
- 2+ years engineering work experience outside of academia.
- Technical sales experience in industrial sector preferred.
- Material handling automation design and sales experience.
- Strong presentation skills and an entrepreneurial, competitive personality.
Responsibilities
- Develop strong relationships with customers through regular visits.
- Assess needs and present tailored solutions.
- Sell a wide variety of products and services to meet customer needs.
- Collaborate with Toyota Automated Logistics entities for best solutions.
- Provide professional sales quotes in a timely manner.
- Master business technology (AutoCad, CRM, PowerPoint).
- Pursue leads from our Website and suppliers.
- Maintain customer data in CRM and communicate strategic information.
