Job summary

IFAS LLC in Washington, DC, is seeking a Gov. Contracts Recruiter/Technical Recruiter to lead full-cycle talent acquisition for federal contracts, backfills, and new awards. The role partners with HR, Program Management, Contracts, and Business Development to meet staffing needs.

You will recruit technical, professional, and administrative staff for DoD and federal civilian programs, ensuring compliance with labor categories and clearance requirements. Hybrid work model offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, related field or equivalent experience.
• 5 years of full-cycle recruiting experience, including 2 years for federal government contractors.
• Experience recruiting technical positions for federal civilian or DoD programs.
• Proficiency with ATS and sourcing platforms; strong communication and prioritization skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead full-cycle recruitment: requisitions, postings, sourcing, screening, interviewing, offers, onboarding handoff.
• Recruit for federal contracts across software, IT, cybersecurity, program management, and analyst roles.
• Partner with Program Managers to align labor categories, qualifications, deadlines, and priorities.
• Maintain candidate pipelines for existing contracts, backfills, new awards, recompetes, and vacancies.
• Utilize LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, referrals, and other channels; present qualified candidates to hiring managers.
• Ensure recruiting records comply with federal contractor requirements and reporting obligations.
