The Town of Windsor is seeking a Hybrid Facilities Technician I to perform maintenance, repairs, and preventive services for town facilities. You will work under supervision to manage plumbing, electrical, HVAC, painting, and custodial tasks while ensuring safety and code compliance.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Minimum high school diploma or GED.
• 1 year of experience as a Facilities Maintenance Technician I or related field.
• 2 years of custodial and facility service experience.
• HVAC and/or electrical experience preferred.
• Equivalent training/experience accepted.

Responsabilités

• Perform general construction, maintenance, and repairs on buildings and facilities.
• Inspect town facilities to ensure safety and compliance with codes.
• Maintain and repair small equipment as needed.
• Assess and report maintenance issues, prioritize projects.
• Complete work orders and routine preventative maintenance.
• Perform basic tasks like changing filters, lighting, painting, and cleaning.
