Job summary

Brooks Automation US LLC is seeking a results-driven Director to lead the Business Operations Executive function for Atmospheric Solutions and Vacuum Automation. You will drive the operating system, cadence, and accountability to ensure BU commitments are delivered and strategic priorities are met.

Ideal candidates bring strong operational and financial judgment, executive presence, and the ability to influence in a matrixed organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, operations, or related field.
• 8+ years in business operations, excellence, PM, finance, or general mgmt partnering with senior executives.
• Strong business and financial acumen with P&L, gross margin, forecasting, and operating metrics.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives in a complex, matrixed organization.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for executive materials.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and collaboration tools (Teams/SharePoint/OneDrive).
• MBA or equivalent advanced degree.

Responsibilities

• Drive accountability and delivery of business outcomes with BU GMs.
• Own and run the operating cadence (MBRs, QBRs) across two BUs.
• Maintain dashboards and provide data-driven visibility into performance.
• Coordinate cross-functional priorities and resolve issues promptly.
• Support financial planning, budgeting, and margin improvement efforts.
• Collaborate with Finance, IT, Sales, Quality, and other functions.
• Partner with BU General Managers to reflect reality in the management system.
