Job summary

WTW in New York is seeking a Director in our Executive Compensation and Board Advisory practice to lead marquee client engagements and guide junior staff.

You will design and review executive compensation programs, manage budgets and timelines, and collaborate with senior colleagues to expand services. A strong client-facing presence, Excel/PowerPoint proficiency, and hybrid in-office work are required.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 7 years of design-oriented executive compensation experience in consulting or similar environments.
• Experience designing annual, equity, stock and other incentive programs.
• Knowledge of regulatory, legal, tax and accounting requirements.
• Analytical, results-driven with ability to present data clearly.
• Ability to manage multiple projects with on-time, quality deliverables.
• Executive presence and strong communication skills, including presentations.
• Self-starter and team player with ability to work in ambiguity.
• Hybrid schedule with regular in-office presence at our New York office.

Responsibilities

• Deliver effective, multi-client project management across engagements.
• Draft statements of work, project plans and budgets.
• Lead day-to-day delivery, ensure progress to objectives and timelines.
• Coach junior staff and manage work assignments.
• Serve as primary client contact on delivery of services.
• Collaborate on compensation program design and benchmarking.
• Develop tools and approaches; support business development discussions.
• Contribute to external visibility through articles and conferences.
