Job summary

PRI Technology is seeking an Exchange Engineer for a 12-month contract in Midtown Manhattan. The role focuses on managing and supporting Exchange Server 2019 and Exchange Online in a hybrid environment, with strong emphasis on migrations, security, and troubleshooting.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on Exchange experience, proficiency with PowerShell, and a solid understanding of M365 services and DNS/AD networking. 3 days onsite and 2 days remote support a hybrid work model.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience administering Microsoft Exchange environments.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365, Exchange Online, and hybrid Exchange configurations.
• Understanding of Exchange Online integration with Microsoft Teams and other 365 services.
• Proficiency in PowerShell scripting for administration and automation.
• Knowledge of SPF, DKIM, and DMARC.
• Solid understanding of AD, DNS, and networking fundamentals.
• Excellent troubleshooting and documentation skills.
• Familiarity with protection against spam and NDR attacks.
• Experience supporting or administering MDM solutions like AirWatch.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, administer, and maintain Exchange Server 2019 and Exchange Online.
• Manage hybrid Exchange configurations and support migrations to Microsoft 365.
• Provide Tier 3 support for complex messaging incidents and service requests.
• Maintain high availability and disaster recovery for messaging systems.
• Conduct health checks, apply patches, and manage capacity planning.
• Automate tasks and reporting using PowerShell and scripting.
• Monitor email traffic and security logs for threats and delivery issues.
• Collaborate with security teams on DLP, encryption, and compliance policies.
• Maintain documentation of configurations and incident resolutions.
