Job summary

Gambit Technologies in New York, NY seeks a Tier 3 Exchange engineer to own the hybrid Exchange 2019/Online environment. You will drive migrations to Microsoft 365, resolve advanced messaging incidents, and automate operations with PowerShell.

You will partner with the security team on DLP, encryption, and Purview policies, ensuring high mail availability and robust incident response. This is a specialized, on-prem plus cloud role focused on email infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Experience managing Exchange on-prem and hybrid environments (2016/2019).
• Hands-on PowerShell development for admin tasks.
• Strong knowledge of SPF, DKIM, and DMARC for troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Manage hybrid Exchange deployment and migrations to Microsoft 365.
• Handle Tier 3 messaging incidents and escalations.
• Automate admin tasks and reporting with PowerShell.
• Maintain mail availability: DR, patching, health checks, capacity planning.
• Monitor mail traffic and security logs for threats and anomalies.
• Collaborate with security on DLP, encryption and Purview policies.
• Document configurations, procedures and incident fixes.
