Job summary

AMG & Associates, Inc. seeks an experienced Event Manager to lead planning and execution of in-person, virtual, and hybrid events. You will turn concepts into polished experiences, coordinating across departments to align strategy, budgets, and vendor management from planning through completion.

You will engage employees, clients, partners, and stakeholders, owning event outcomes and driving continuous improvement across formats and channels.

Qualifications

• 3–7+ years of experience in event management or related field
• Experience planning and delivering in-person, virtual, and hybrid events
• Strong vendor, budget, and staffing management
• Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required with relevant experience

Responsibilities

• Lead events from concept and planning through execution and post-event evaluation
• Develop event strategies, timelines, budgets, production plans, and checklists
• Manage in-person conferences, meetings, executive events, workshops, networking events, and corporate programs
• Plan and execute virtual and hybrid events, including webinars and online meetings
• Coordinate venues, catering, audiovisual production, registration, speakers, staffing, and other event requirements
• Manage event vendors, contracts, deliverables, and performance
• Maintain event budgets and ensure spending aligns with approved plans
• Partner with Marketing, Communications, leadership, and other teams to support event objectives
• Oversee onsite execution and act as central contact during live events
• Coordinate virtual rehearsals, technical prep, speakers, moderators, and production teams
• Anticipate issues and resolve problems quickly during execution
• Measure event performance, gather feedback, and improve future events
