Job summary

Sun Technologies, Inc. is seeking an Events Coordinator to plan and execute events for the Steers Center for Global Real Assets. You will manage venue selection, catering, room setup, and run-of-show, and support invitations and event communications to engage key stakeholders.

Hybrid work: 1 day per week onsite in Washington, DC and the remainder remote. Some evenings and occasional mornings are required for events.

Qualifications

• Experience planning and executing events.
• Working knowledge of Salesforce.
• Basic graphic design using Canva or similar tools.
• Strong organizational and vendor coordination skills.
• Ability to manage multiple events and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate events, including venue selection and booking, catering, room setup, and run-of-show.
• Manage event registration and RSVP lists.
• Create and send email invitations and event communications.
• Design event flyers and promotional materials using basic graphic design tools.
• Prepare meeting materials and event collateral.
• Be present onsite during events to oversee execution.
• Coordinate post-event communications, such as thank-you messages, recaps, and follow-ups.
• Maintain event and attendee information in Salesforce.
• Collaborate with Center leadership and marketing staff to ensure clear audience and promotion plans.
