Job summary

University of Texas at Austin is seeking an Events Program Coordinator to manage a portfolio of clients, coordinate and schedule events, and drive new business for the Thompson Conference Center (TCC) and the Lady Bird Johnson Auditorium (LBJ). You will plan and execute on-site and virtual events, handle logistics, vendor coordination, and post-event analysis while maintaining strong client relationships.

This role requires adaptability for hybrid on-campus/remote work and may include evenings

Qualifications

High School diploma or GED with 3 years coordinating events experience.
Experience coordinating complex events and meetings in a conference center or similar facility.
Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word); able to learn Mazevo, Drupal, Calendly, and Zoom.
Strong interpersonal and customer service skills with excellent organization and communication.

Responsibilities

Coordinate and manage events end-to-end, including timelines and vendor coordination.
Provide on-site direction and post-event follow-up to ensure successful execution.
Develop and maintain client relationships; identify and acquire new clients for TCC and LBJ.
Support hybrid and virtual events using Zoom and other platforms; stay current with technology changes.
