Placements24 is seeking an organized and creative Event Planner to manage a diverse portfolio of corporate and social events. You will oversee every stage from concept and budgeting to execution and post-event analysis, collaborating with clients to bring their vision to life and deliver memorable experiences that meet objectives.

The role requires strong organizational, negotiation, and communication skills, with a track record of managing budgets, vendors, staffing, catering, and AV.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an Event Planner or similar role with a strong portfolio.
• Excellent organizational, project management, and time management skills.
• Strong negotiation and vendor management abilities.
• Proficiency in event planning software and tools.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects in Paarl.

Responsabilités

• Plan, organize, and execute conferences, product launches, weddings, and private parties.
• Develop detailed event plans, timelines, and budgets.
• Source and negotiate with vendors, suppliers, and venues.
• Manage event logistics including staffing, catering, audiovisual, and registration.
• Provide exceptional client service with professionalism and creativity.
• Conduct post-event evaluations to gather feedback for improvement.
