The Autism Society of Minnesota (AuSM) is seeking an Event Manager to plan and execute events that support AuSM's programming and fundraising goals. This hybrid role combines remote work with two days per week in-person collaboration with our St.

Paul-based team. You will lead, coordinate, and deliver four large annual events and numerous smaller gatherings, manage budgets, vendors, volunteers, and accessibility needs, and partner with programs, operations, and leadership to elevate AuSM’s

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional event management experience.
• Strong verbal and/or written communication skills, including the ability to negotiate details.
• Ability to multitask and adapt to changes across multiple priorities and projects.
• Knowledge of accessibility and inclusion in events.
• Compliance with HIPAA and regulatory standards.

Responsabilités

• Plan, develop, and execute a range of events that support fundraising goals.
• Identify speakers and talent; manage contracts, travel, logistics.
• Negotiate and manage vendors, venues, catering, AV, and accessibility needs.
• Recruit, train, and manage volunteers; on-site coordination.
• Oversee online sales, registrations, silent auctions, raffles, and fundraising pages.
• Collaborate with programs, marketing, and leadership to meet deadlines.
