Job summary

Arizona Autism United in Phoenix is seeking an Events Coordinator to support fundraising, community engagement, donor stewardship, and organizational events. You will coordinate logistics, vendors, volunteers, and sponsors to create welcoming, mission-driven experiences.

The role reports to the Events & Community Engagement Supervisor and the Development Team. Requires 1 year of professional event planning (nonprofit preferred) and ability to travel in Maricopa County.

Qualifications

• H.S Diploma or GED required; college degree preferred.
• At least 1 year of professional event planning experience (preferably nonprofit).
• Fundraising experience is a plus.
• Must be able to travel throughout Maricopa County as needed.
• Proficient computer skills with MS Office and social media channels.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and execute fundraising, community, donor, and organizational events.
• Coordinate event logistics including venues, catering, registrations, signage, and materials.
• Maintain event timelines, guest lists and budgets; track expenses and sponsorships.
• Assist with invitations, promotional materials, and event communications.
