Job summary

AuSM is seeking a Communications Coordinator to manage social media messaging and design across digital and print media. You will support fundraising, advocacy, and program communications while ensuring accessibility and brand consistency. The role combines online campaigns with print materials and collaboration with the Advancement Department.

The position is hybrid, with remote work and two in-person days per week at our St. Paul, MN office.

Qualifications

• Experience in social media marketing, nonprofit communications, fundraising, or digital media.
• Design experience for both digital and print formats (print materials, brochures, catalogs, posters).
• Ability to create engaging content for social platforms and websites, with accessible, inclusive messaging.

Responsibilities

• Manage online messaging across social channels, website, and email campaigns.
• Plan and execute social media marketing campaigns to support programs, resources, fundraising, and awareness.
• Design print and digital assets (flyers, posters, brochures, social media graphics).
• Ensure brand consistency, accessibility, and inclusive communication across all materials.
• Collaborate with leadership, programs, marketing, and events teams on communications initiatives.
