Job summary

UMass Memorial Health is seeking a Sr. Epic Client System Administrator in Worcester, MA, to support, configure, and maintain Epic client systems across clinical and operational environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 6+ years in Healthcare IT in an Epic Client Systems role.
• Strong analytical troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills.
• Proficiency with scripting (PowerShell) for automation.
• Understanding of Azure, virtual infrastructure, and cloud‑hosted workflows.
• Experience with client distribution tools and web/service server architecture.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain Epic components including Hyperspace, Interconnect, EPS, Web BLOB, MyChart, CareLink, Rover, Haiku.
• Support daily operations of Epic client systems and web/service servers.
• Troubleshoot system issues, performance problems, and integration failures.
• Participate in cloud migration tasks including endpoint updates, IRIS reinstall support, Kuiper and System Pulse operations.
• Collaborate with technical leads, application teams, and infrastructure teams.
• Mentor up and coming team members; lead on large projects and complex changes.
