Job summary

UC San Diego Health seeks a Clinical Informatics Specialist III - Epic Reporting in a hybrid role, combining on-site work at Towne Centre Drive, San Diego, CA with remote work. You will design, develop, and optimize enterprise analytics solutions using Epic tools, SQL, Tableau, and related technologies to deliver data-driven dashboards that improve patient care and operational performance.

You will support Epic upgrades, go-live activities, and adopt advanced analytics and AI capabilities,

Qualifications

Seven years of healthcare analytics experience or a related Bachelor's with three years experience.
Broad knowledge in clinical informatics areas and clinical workflows.
Thorough knowledge of clinical informatics software used in a UC health system.
Strong time management and ability to handle competing priorities.
Excellent collaboration and training skills across levels of staff.
Strong problem-resolution and data analysis capabilities.
Ability to advise on performance, efficiency, and policy in clinical IT.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and optimize enterprise analytics solutions using Epic tools and SQL-based tech.
Support end-to-end delivery from requirements gathering to deployment and optimization.
Collaborate with clinicians, operational leaders, and informatics teams to deliver dashboards and insights.
Participate in Epic upgrades, go-live activities, and adoption of advanced analytics and AI technologies.
