Job summary

Air & Space Forces Association in Arlington, VA seeks a Junior Account Executive reporting to the Vice President of Sales to identify and secure new advertisers and sponsors for AFA products, including magazines, digital properties, newsletters, and event sponsorships.

The role supports the Sales team with research and execution of sales programs, while performing a broad range of duties from prospecting to closing.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of sales experience with proven track record of meeting quotas and driving revenue.
• Experience selling a comprehensive product line including media and events is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Build and manage a new business pipeline for assigned programs (advertising, media, events).
• Meet or exceed new business sales targets and secure contracts and sponsorships.
• Maintain and grow relationships with advertisers; upsell and renew revenue.
• Create integrated marketing proposals and presentations for clients of varying levels.
• Forecast, track and report on sales performance and maintain CRM data.
• Collaborate with internal teams to research and generate lead lists and marketing collateral.
