Job summary

PAE is seeking an Entry-Level Electrical Engineer to join our New York office in a hybrid environment. You will learn to design and model power distribution, lighting, and technology systems under experienced project leads, transitioning from academic concepts to professional practice.

You will gain proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD, perform load calculations and code compliance tasks, and support project teams while developing technical mastery in industry standards and software tools used

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering required.
• EIT or ability to obtain is preferred.
• Internship experience is a plus.
• Ability to develop proficiency in Revit/AutoCAD is expected.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail are required.

Responsibilities

• Develop understanding of electrical system design, modeling and documentation.
• Develop proficiency using Revit and AutoCAD as design/drafting tools.
• Grow in reading plans and project drawings.
• Provide task-based support for engineering distribution, lighting, power, and technology systems.
• Develop understanding of codes and electrical industry standards.
• Perform electrical load calculations and load flow, short circuit, and arc flash analyses.
• Research codes and perform code compliance analyses.
• Complete assigned work under project team guidance.
