Job summary

PAE in New York is seeking an Entry-Level Mechanical Engineer to join our design team in a hybrid office environment. You will build a foundation in building systems, including HVAC, Plumbing, and Fire Protection, under the guidance of experienced project leads, translating theoretical concepts into practical, code-compliant designs.

You will learn to design system layouts, perform basic thermal simulations, and read drawings while developing proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering; EIT or ability to obtain.
• Revit/AutoCAD proficiency; TRACE and IES familiarity.
• Strong analytical skills, organizational ability, and communication.

Responsibilities

• Develop understanding of mechanical system design and documentation.
• Support design for HVAC, Plumbing, and Fire Protection systems.
• Learn to read drawings, plans, and codes; assist with calculations.
