Job summary

PAE is seeking an Entry-Level Electrical Engineer for our Portland, OR office in a hybrid environment. You will support electrical system design for built environments, learn distribution, lighting, and technology systems, and model loads with Easy Power under project leads.

You will gain hands-on experience with Revit and AutoCAD, study building codes, and perform calculations. A Bachelor’s in electrical engineering and the ability to obtain EIT are preferred; internship experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering required.
• EIT or ability to obtain is preferred.
• Experience with Revit/AutoCAD is required or strongly preferred.
• Familiarity with electrical codes and standards helpful.

Responsibilities

• Develop an understanding of electrical system design, modeling and documentation.
• Provide task-based support for engineering distribution, lighting, power, and technology systems.
• Model distribution Load Flow, Short Circuit and Arc Flash Energy using Easy Power.
• Learn building codes and electrical industry standards.
