Job summary

PAE in Boston is seeking an Entry-Level Electrical Engineer in a hybrid office environment. You will transition from academic theory to professional practice, designing and modeling power distribution, lighting, and technology systems under experienced mentors.

You will develop skills in Revit/AutoCAD, read plans, perform load flow, short circuit and arc flash analyses with Easy Power, and support distribution, lighting, and building code compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering for discipline work.
• Engineer in Training (E.I.T.) or ability to obtain.
• Internship experience preferred.
• Ability to develop an understanding of Revit/AutoCAD.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Develop understanding of electrical system design, modeling and documentation.
• Provide task-based support for engineering distribution, lighting, power, and technology systems.
• Model distribution Load Flow, Short Circuit and Arc Flash Energy using Easy Power.
• Perform electrical load calculations and learn code compliance analysis.
