PAE CONSULTING ENGINEERS INC in Denver is seeking an entry-level Electrical Engineer to join a hybrid office environment. You will learn to design and model power distribution, lighting, and technology systems under mentorship, transitioning from classroom theory to professional practice.

The role emphasizes developing skills in Revit/AutoCAD, reading plans, and complying with electrical codes. A Bachelor’s degree and EIT eligibility are preferred, with internship experience welcomed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering required.
• Engineer in Training (EIT) or ability to obtain EIT.
• Internship experience preferred.
• Ability to read plans and understand specifications, building codes and electrical standards.
• Proficiency with Revit/AutoCAD as design/drafting tools.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Develop understanding of electrical system design, modeling and documentation.
• Develop proficiency using Revit and AutoCAD as design/drafting tools.
• Grow in ability to read plans.
• Provide task-based support for distribution, lighting, power, and technology systems.
• Develop understanding of specifications, building codes and electrical standards.
• Complete assigned work with instruction from project team members.
• Model distribution Load Flow, Short Circuit and Arc Flash Energy using Easy Power.
• Perform electrical load calculations.
• Research codes and undertake code compliance analysis.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
