Job summary

PAE is seeking an Entry-Level Electrical Engineer for our Los Angeles office in a hybrid work environment. You will learn electrical system design for built environments, modeling power distribution, lighting, and technology systems under mentorship, with hands-on experience in industry-standard software and codes.

You'll contribute to project teams while developing technical mastery in Revit/AutoCAD and energy analysis.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering; Engineer in Training (EIT) or ability to obtain.
• Internship experience preferred.
• Develop understanding of Revit/AutoCAD.
• Strong analytical skills and strategic thinking.
• Clear communication and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Develop understanding of electrical system design, modeling and documentation.
• Grow proficiency with Revit and AutoCAD as design/drafting tools.
• Support engineering distribution, lighting, power, and technology systems.
• Model distribution Load Flow, Short Circuit and Arc Flash Energy using Easy Power.
• Perform electrical load calculations and code compliance analysis.
