Job summary

OhioHealth is seeking an experienced pharmacist to oversee the ONU-OhioHealth Pharmacy Intern program, support remote medication reconciliation, and verify orders across the enterprise. The role combines clinical oversight with learner development and collaboration with care teams.

The position is hybrid, onsite during school sessions and remote during breaks, with on-site onboarding at care sites. Evening hours are from 2pm to 10:30pm with a shift differential.

Qualifications

• PharmD degree and active Ohio Pharmacist license required.
• Experience with drug therapy management and patient counseling preferred.
• ASHP residency or equivalent pharmacy practice experience is desired.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and precept the ONU-OhioHealth Pharmacy Intern program.
• Review and verify medication orders across the enterprise via the Enterprise Queue (EQ).
• Interpret prescriptions and manage drug therapy for complications.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other health-care practitioners to ensure safe therapy.
• Lead safety, stewardship, and utilization initiatives within designated site(s).
• Mentor and train pharmacy learners and staff across settings.
