OhioHealth Corporation's Pickerington Methodist Hospital is seeking a Pharmacist - Clinical/Operational for the evening shift. The role includes dispensing and compounding medications, counseling patients, interpreting prescriptions, and managing patient drug therapy across acute and ambulatory care settings. This is a full-time position.

The candidate must have a PharmD or B.S. with an Ohio license, BLS, ASHP residency or equivalent experience, and may require ACLS.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science or Doctor of Pharmacy degree from an accredited institution (Required).
• Current Ohio pharmacist license (Required).
• Basic Life Support Certification—current or obtained during orientation.
• ASHP accredited residency or equivalent pharmacy practice experience.
• Pharmacy Board Certifications or other certifications.
• Advanced-level degree in healthcare field.
• Collaborative practice experience.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support Certification (may be required).
• Pharmacokinetic drug dosing experience.
• Drug therapy management.

Responsabilités

• Dispenses and compounds medications and provides drug therapy-related devices.
• Counsels patients on medications and health topics.
• Interprets prescriptions and determines compatibility with standards of practice.
• Monitors and manages patient drug therapy in collaboration with providers.
• Precepts students and residents; provides education for staff.
• Directs and guides pharmacy technicians and support personnel.
• Work across Acute Care, Ambulatory Care, and Retail segments as applicable.
• Lead safety, stewardship, and utilization initiatives within designated sites.
