Job summary

Day shifts are available, with opportunities to gain practical experience in product preparation, order review, billing, and collaboration with healthcare professionals.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• Interns must be pursuing licensure as a Registered Pharmacist.
• Active intern license before employment may be required.

Responsibilities

• Obtain, prepare, and label pharmacy products for final distribution.
• Review orders under supervision and interpret needs for patient care.
• Produce billing, monitoring, and usage documentation.
• Maintain inventory of pharmacy products.
• Provide information to healthcare professionals and customers.
• Submit medication charge data for proper reimbursement.
• Assist in training technicians, externs, and interns.
• Participate in special projects as needed.
• Focus on safety, quality and efficiency as part of HRO principles.
