Job summary

OhioHealth Westerville Medical Campus is seeking a part-time pharmacist to dispense, counsel, and manage patient drug therapy with a focus on safety and quality.

The role requires an Ohio pharmacist license, a PharmD or BS in Pharmacy, and BLS certification; residency or equivalent experience is preferred. The pharmacist will collaborate with physicians and other health-care professionals and may precept students.

Qualifications

• Requires Doctor of Pharmacy or PharmD and an active Ohio pharmacist license.
• Includes BLS and possibly ACLS certification as determined by the manager.
• Experience with drug therapy management and pharmacokinetic dosing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Dispense and compound medications following standards of practice.
• Counsel patients on medications and health topics.
• Interpret prescriptions and manage patient drug therapy.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other health-care staff.
• Precept pharmacy students and residents; provide training.
