Job summary

Asure Software in Santa Ana, CA is seeking a Client Relationship Manager to serve as the primary contact for enterprise clients, ensuring compliant payroll tax operations and strong partnerships with payroll and finance teams.

You will guide clients on the APTM platform, support quarterly/year-end processing, and collaborate with Accounting, Implementation, and Product teams to improve service quality. Hybrid work with benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of payroll tax filing and/or payment experience, preferably for large or multi-state employers.
• High school diploma or GED; associate or bachelor's degree preferred.
• Strong knowledge of multi-state payroll tax compliance and agency requirements.
• Experience in enterprise-level payroll environments (1,000+ employees or multi-EIN) preferred.
• Prior experience with PEO or HCM platforms preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary contact for assigned enterprise clients, ensuring proactive communication and exceptional service.
• Develop understanding of each client’s payroll tax structure and compliance needs.
• Build partnerships with client payroll/finance teams to ensure compliant tax operations.
• Conduct client review meetings to discuss performance, items, and deadlines.
• Manage client cases and inquiries to meet SLAs and KPIs.
• Provide guidance on the APTM platform and related systems; assist training and onboarding.
