Job summary

Asure Software Inc. is seeking a Tax Filing Manager to lead daily and quarterly filing operations from our Santa Ana, CA site. You will manage Filing Leads and Specialists, ensuring timely, accurate paper and electronic filings and strong SLA performance.

You will escalate risks to leadership, coordinate with Product/Development, and drive continuous improvement in filing processes and coding changes. This role blends on-site and hybrid work.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
• 7+ years of payroll tax filing experience, including periodic and quarter‑end filing processes, with prior supervisory or management experience.
• Demonstrated experience managing agency deadlines, filing SLAs, and high‑volume filing cycles at a team or department level.
• Experience overseeing troubleshooting of e‑file rejections and directing corrective action plans.
• Strong understanding of the Asure Tax Code module and new agency implementation procedures.

Responsibilities

• Manage the daily and quarterly filing operation, including oversight of Filing Leads and Filing Specialists across periodic and quarter-end cycles.
• Own filing SLA performance; monitor risk trends across the team and elevate exposure to the Director before deadlines are missed.
• Ensure paper and electronic filings, check attaching, bulk check reconciliation, ACH credit applications, and mail processes are completed timely and accurately across the team.
• Oversee resolution of filing rejections and ensure timely communication of rejections and corrective actions to CSS/CSR teams.
• Prepare and present filing performance, quality, and risk metrics to senior leadership.
