Job summary

Imprivata, based in Waltham, MA, is seeking a Managed Services Engineer for a hybrid role. You will lead the ongoing administration of Imprivata’s product platform, provide technical leadership, and coordinate complex customer engagements across on-premises and cloud deployments.

You will perform solution assessments, deploy and test configurations, and deliver training while guiding customers to maximize value and ROI. Travel up to 25% is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, business, or a related field preferred.
• 5+ years of software-industry experience implementing enterprise software packages or custom systems.
• 3+ years of experience implementing or administering Imprivata products in a healthcare setting; Imprivata certification preferred.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Windows Server, Active Directory, LDAP, Group Policy, and domain architecture and integration design.
• Experience with IAM products and virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper-V, Citrix).
• Experience with client software deployment using SCCM, LANDesk, and AD Group Policy.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% for onsite meetings.

Responsibilities

• Perform remote and onsite assessments and provide strategic recommendations to maximize customer value.
• Lead and participate in customer meetings, communications, and roadmap planning.
• Own customer lifecycle and health of Imprivata environments across implementation, adoption, and support.
• Provide hands-on configuration, deployment, testing, and maintenance for managed-service environments.
• Lead training and enablement for internal teams, customers, and partners; support workshops and pilots.
• Manage escalations and ensure timely issue resolution.
• Create and maintain technical documentation and best-practice materials.
