Job summary

Collins Aerospace is seeking an Engineering Project Assistant for a Hybrid role in the US. You will plan, schedule, and support engineers with documentation, process and related engineering activities.

Responsibilities include coordinating documentation changes, data conversion, and tracking statuses across pre-release to revision stages while interfacing with engineering teams and management.

Qualifications

• Typically requires HS Diploma or AA/AS degree (or other 2-year post high school training) with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience
• Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint experience are required.

Responsibilities

• Edits and formats software/hardware documentation; interfaces with technicians, engineers and managers to edit/format documentation.
• Performs data conversion for software development or project file maintenance.
• Coordinate status inquiries and report progress during pre-release, release, and revision cycles of documents.
• Provides tools expertise and support to Engineering: MS Office apps, requirements capture databases, change management and tracking tools.
