Job summary

SOLV Energy is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead the engineering scope for EPC renewable projects in a hybrid San Diego environment. You will own delivery of engineering deliverables, manage internal and external design teams, and align with permitting and contracting requirements.

This role requires 8+ years in EPC/renewables, 3+ years managing staff, a Bachelor's in Engineering, and a PE/FE preference. Proficiency in AutoCAD and Primavera P6 is essential, with travel up to 20%.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of progressive engineering experience in EPC, renewable energy, utilities, or large-scale infrastructure.
• 3+ years managing direct reports.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
• Engineer-in-Training (FE).
• PE license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver engineering scope for SOLV projects.
• Coordinate with permitting team and stakeholders.
• Manage schedules and budgets for internal and external design work.
• Review owner/client docs and synthesize risks for bids.
• Develop IFC drawings aligned with contract energy model.
• Mentor a direct report and set engineering standards.
