EDF Renewable Energy, Inc. is seeking a Sr. Pre-Construction Manager in San Diego, CA.

Hybrid role coordinating regional pre-construction for Solar, wind, storage, and HV projects, overseeing EPC procurement, cost estimation, and risk analysis. You will lead cross-functional teams through RFPs, contracts, and stakeholder engagement, with a focus on schedule, budget, and value. The role emphasizes continuous improvement, tool development, and collaboration with a diverse team to deliver projects

Qualifications

• 7+ years in renewables EPC/owner-operator environments.
• Experience negotiating EPC contracts over $100M.
• Experience with cost estimating and takeoffs for major projects.
• Knowledge of renewable energy plant design and regulatory environment.
• Strong communication and leadership in cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead regional pre-construction for Solar, On-Shore Wind, HV and Energy Storage.
• Oversee EPC procurement from RFP through contract execution and bid evaluation.
• Lead BoP cost estimating, constructability risk analysis, and scheduling.
• Support project acquisition, offtake negotiation, permitting and stakeholder engagement.
• Drive continuous improvement: processes, tools, and LCOE reduction.
• Manage relationships with EPC contractors and qualification updates.
