Over J Consulting in Los Angeles, CA seeks an experienced Engineering Estimator to prepare accurate estimates for engineering projects. You will collaborate with project managers and engineers to ensure estimates meet requirements and leverage value engineering opportunities.

Responsibilities include reviewing plans, maintaining cost databases, and supporting bidding processes. A Bachelor's in Engineering with 4+ years estimating experience is required; Master’s preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field is required.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in engineering estimating.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and engineering software.
• Knowledge of construction materials, methods, and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate and timely estimates for engineering projects.
• Review plans and specs to determine scope, materials, and equipment.
• Identify cost savings and value engineering opportunities.
• Develop and maintain cost estimating databases using various software.
• Provide estimating guidance to projects of varying scale.
• Coordinate input parameters for cost estimates and schedules.
