Job summary

Budderfly is seeking a Customer Management Performance Specialist to coordinate the utility onboarding data gathering process and support AMU calculations. This entry-level, full-time role offers exposure to a fast-growing energy management company and a chance to contribute to performance improvements across multiple client accounts.

The ideal candidate has 1–3 years of data analysis and financial acumen, with a strong focus on Excel and customer service within a dynamic team environment.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of data analysis and financial acumen with understanding of utility bills.
• Experience in the energy or utility industry strongly preferred.
• Understanding of utility billing, rate structures, and tariffs.
• Strong problem-solving and creative thinking abilities.
• Demonstrated customer service skills with ability to collaborate across teams.
• Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel.

Responsibilities

• Act as liaison between the Performance Management and Customer Management teams to facilitate billing baseline adjustments to AMU calculations.
• Assist in organizing the workflow for AMU adjustments and normalization activities.
• Participate in weekly reviews of performance results across the client base to feed upcoming adjustments.
• Develop a process to manage AMU adjustments from all parts of the company and determine prioritization.
• Work alongside the AMU creation team to calibrate new baseline calculations and prevent future performance issues.
• Maintain an understanding of performance expectations, installation savings and related KPIs.
• Assign Zoho tickets to AMU team related to adjustments and reviews.
• Load balance and cross-train with the AMU creation team.
