Job summary

Datadog is seeking a contract Enablement Designer for Recruiting and People to build and deliver training content for our global team over a 12-month engagement. This hands-on role focuses on designing curriculum, producing content, and running live training for recruiters, sourcers, coordinators, and people leaders across our global sites.

The engagement is centered on content, design, and delivery, with program ownership and governance by Recruiting Operations leadership.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in Talent Acquisition, Enablement, Learning & Development, or instructional design with recruiting experience.
• Prolific content builder with curricula and training materials you designed.
• Confident facilitator of in-person and virtual sessions.
• Able to ramp quickly with limited hand-holding and diagnose gaps in a new org.
• Contractor/consultant experience with scoped delivery on a timeline.
• Credible with stakeholders you don’t manage across the org.
• Experience designing for global audiences (Americas, EMEA, APAC).
• Experience coaching people leaders is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design and build modular enablement content across the recruiting lifecycle: intake, sourcing, assessment, closing, candidate experience, systems.
• Produce publishable material: facilitator guides, participant materials, job aids, async modules, knowledge checks, LMS/SCORM packaging.
• Facilitate the core curriculum on cadence, including regional delivery.
• Build the measurement layer: completion, confidence, and manager-reported readiness.
• Contribute the AI layer into existing manager development rather than building a parallel leader track.
• Leave behind a maintainable content model with source files, owners, review cadence, and update triggers.
