Job summary
Hyster-Yale Materials Handling, Inc. in Greenville, NC seeks a Technology Solutions Software Engineer II-III to design, develop, test, and maintain embedded software for connected products and intelligent control systems.
You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements, develop scalable software architectures, and ensure reliability and performance. Level III adds technical leadership, code reviews, and mentoring of engineers.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a related technical field with embedded software experience.
- Experience with embedded control systems, testing, and documentation.
- Proficiency in C/C++ and real-time software concepts.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain embedded software for connected products and intelligent control systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements and scalable architectures.
- Verify and validate software via simulation, testing, and troubleshooting.
- Partner with manufacturing, product management, suppliers and service teams for development and continuous improvement.
- Level III: lead code/design reviews and mentor early-career engineers.
